I’m torn on this. Gotta build Emma’s confidence back. And not injure Keely


I get it that softball is way different than baseball for a pitcher but the reality is, when you get late in the season, arm fatigue can still be a thing, even for softball. Keely has thrown something like 35% more innings than Emma on the season and has thrown over 200 pitches since Friday.

I think you start Emma and see how the game flows. If our bats are hot again, she doesn’t need to be perfect. Would be ideal to not throw Keely tomorrow and still win. Or, if tomorrow is just FSU’s day from the get go (possible), have Ivy and Mac eat up some innings and get some experience going up against the best. Not saying don’t try to win. Just play it by ear, but in a perfect world, you start Emma tomorrow and don’t use Keely (and still win).
