I can't help but to chuckle whenever I hear folks on this board question VT's players, especially when it comes to EK's physicality, or lack thereof. The young lady has transformed her game into one that's versatile (back to basket or face up), and has had an extraordinary amount of success at VT. She struggled against Key (shot just 1 or 2 out of 12 I believe) and Baylor (double and triple teamed her the entire game with three physical players....all of whom were more experienced, I believe), but look at her body of work. Opposing teams have the "luxury" of focusing their defenses on her since VT doesn't have as many offensive threats around the basket. She gets beat on, double and triple teamed, and still ends up in the top two in the ACC in points, rebounds and blocked shots.....If I'm not mistaken two years in a row. Not sure what else she can do, statistically anyway. I believe EK's had pretty good success vs. physical players during her career thus far (Janelle Bailey, L. Cubaj, Cardoso, Cochran and the other girl from Louisville now in the WNBA, among others).

SMH at the reference to getting killed by more physical players!!!!! I just wish VT could get another big or two to play alongside of or back her up!!!!!

Brooks seems to struggle some with his roster just like other D1 schools, in terms of the transfer portal. It has transformed the way coaches have to "recruit", both short-term and long-term. That said, plus how hard it is to keep more than 8 players happy when they can up and leave with no penalty (not saying there should be one).
