Formula 1 is amazing . . . but is still a niche sport

I have followed F1 since I was a kid, I'm in my mid 30s now. I find it fascinating. I have since moved to south Florida (from central VA) and will be heading to Miami for the F1 weekend. I cannot wait, it is my hope to travel to Europe and catch a race or two over there in the coming years as well.

I believe the USA (like MotoGP and Nicky Hayden rip) needs to get a driver involved for it to totally take off here in the states. The issue with that is, its takes years to develop talent like that. The HAAS team is based here in the States, so maybe they could do a little more promoting, especially now their cars are a been more competitive.

Either way I am excited to see the US is getting multiple GPs. I hope the sport catches on here, the dynamics of F1 are fun to follow.
