We were there 4 years ago


and stayed just off Trafalgar Square at The Grand at Trafalgar Square. It is currently booking at under $300USD per night.

It was a great spot - you can walk the mall straight to Buckingham Palace, It is a block from Charing Cross Station to take the tube around the city, and it is 2 blocks from the Thames and 4 blocks from Parliament (which, along with Big Ben, is still closed).
