File recovery question


A Word doc got corrupted and I saved and backed it up before I realized the problem, so both the original file (on a flash drive) and the backup (on a portable hard drive) are messed up. I researched and tried tried various methods to recover it but have had no luck. Anyone out there know of something that might work?
