I didn’t see it, but there was a good local HS

softball pitcher in my area a few years ago that took a line drive off her face/forehead. The ball was his so hard that it went off of her and over the 3rd base dugout in the air. It’s purely a personal choice, but there’s no way I would get 46’ away from a batter without a mask.
