understand why we put them as the best team in the nation, year after year, only for them to crap the bed in the tournament (most of the time). This is all relative, btw, because they are a better program than 345+ other programs, but their lack of a national championship is astounding. The way they are talked about all year, you would think they are John Wooden and the Bruin Boys reincarnate, yet they only have made it out of the Sweet 16, 5 of 12 tries. (Yeah, we are 0-1. Remember the relative comment above). Compare that to a North Carolina who has won 12 of their last 15 S16 games (within the same time frame too). It seems to me we need to take the Zags success in season with a grain of salt and maybe seed them not as the overall #1 seed every year.

Heck, maybe that way they'll actually win since the overall 1 doesn't win very often.
