I'm glad you mentioned Jerry Reed.


You're spot on with your take. Jerry Reed made his biggest splash with pop tunes like Amos Moses, The Bandit, etc. but "I knew him when". His first album "The Unbelievable Guitar and Voice of Jerry Reed", aptly named, was epic and displayed his guitar talent. Listen to "The Claw" linked below. And his vocals on that first album? Wow!
