Of the 21 pitchers on the roster, there are only 4 new FR pitchers, 1 of whom (Hackenberg) is now the Saturday starter. Everyone else on the staff is either a Grad or similarly experienced transfer (Higgins, Kennedy, Geber & Fisher), or a returning pitcher from past year(s) (13 other guys). So it's eminently reasonable to expect improvement in the bullpen performance this year when you add 4 experienced transfer arms to 11 returning pitchers in the bullpen (excluding the 2 returning guys who are starters).
