and one I wondered about myself - does the extraordinary efforts of Chip's fundraising efforts AND the extreme generosity of all on TSL who donate $, in any way simply offset the money softball would otherwise receive from the VT athletic department? In other words, is there any chance Whit says "softball needs $X to run it's program but now it looks like donors are giving 0.25X so I will now only give them 0.75X in future budgets"? I sure hope not. But for so many reasons, I prefer to do ANY softball donation through Chip vs directly via the HC.
