Co-worker actually suggested this. Leave Ukraine for 1-2 years, and return.


Said the people could simply leave Ukraine for a couple years, wait for Russian forces to draw-down --- and then stroll back into Kyiv, and say "Here we are, we're back in charge now!"

About the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Something a 4-year old would come up with.

Gave him several examples of occupation/war where this DID NOT WORK (or took decades to change, such as Soviet Union) --- still couldn't convince him.

After talking to him, made me appreciate our military so much more. If he made the decisions for America, we'd be ruled by Cobra Commander.
