Meanwhile VT goes out in the first round after 4 games. What is the correlation of wins in the big dance versus games in the conference tournament? Iowa State got blown out in their first game of the Big12 and they also advance to the round of 16. Virginia as a number 1 seed went down in 2018(?) after winning the ACC with 3 games. Its almost like you don’t want to burn yourself out in the conference championship to go far in the NCAA’s.
