question to ask if the motivation is to truly understand as opposed to just bitching because expectations were not met. Not saying that is what you are doing or implying but, that is how I interpreted the original OP. There is also always something to improve upon and you are right the defensive rating does lag the offensive rating, however, over the final push their defense was very good in general even if it slipped in the final game. Sometimes the match up is bad, sometimes the style requires a little more prep, etc., etc..
