Of them, WSU had no quadrant 1 wins and Colorado only had 1.
Oregon was 5-5 against quadrant 1 and so using the Rutgers rule, you could argue that Oregon was just as deserving as Rutgers.
Oregon was Q1 5-5, Q2 3-7, Q3 3-2, Q4 8-0.
Rutgers was Q1 6-6, Q2 3-5, Q3 4-2, Q4 5-1.
Oregon's non-conference strength of schedule was #10. Rutgers' non-conference strength of schedule was #304.
