The guy needs to let it go. It will rear its ugly head for the students


later in life in some job setting where they need to know s*** they didn't learn. With all of the online classes, anybody that doesn't understand that cheating is rampant, is a moron. While at the same time a lot of morons are graduating with honors.

The only way to curtail it is grade on items that are more qualitative, like class participation, presentations, etc, (unlikely, because that'll cause the prof to do some work) or give everybody grades based on a true bell curve, and if most of the class gets a 95, a 95 gets a C because it is the average. Can't do that though, because we live in a feel-good society and the guy would get sued by a student whose feelings were hurt for not getting an A when they got a 95.
