Great advice. The old Nike adage of "just Do It" is a good one

Rewind to last March, I was just a fan who loved softball and wrote an article or two. I had ZERO intention of doing anything related to fundraising. Never even thought about it.

But then Coach D'Amour mentioned one day that the team was wearing 5-year-old socks and BOOM, that was not acceptable in my mind. Actually, it made me mad enough to do something.,

So we tried an auction and we raised $8,000.

Then, at the urging of Swimhokie and RJHokie and others, "Poppin' It" was born, which was fun AND raised money. BOOM, another $21,000.

And then this year, TWHokie reached out to me and suggested the "Ten for the Win" challenge and it looks like we'll raise over $25,000 - maybe even $30,000 if people keep donating.

Yes, it takes a LOT of work as well as time, but when you see the results, it's all worth it.

OK, off my soapbox.

HOW ABOUT THOSE HOKIES!!!!
