if you google what an NCAA tourney unit is worth you will find some of what you are looking for. With the pandemic and adjustments I am not sure whether there has been one released in a while. Last one I recall was in 2019(covering through 2018) I think. The article included a payout figure analyzed for a long period, think it was late 1990s through 2018. At that point the Big Ten was tops and ACC was #2. What that gross number does not tell you is the actual number of bids over the term. If it did you could back in to games won(i.e., units earned). I have noted in other posts an analysis of total bids and conference performance versus seed would give a clearer picture. Gross revenue is a rough measure and a quick way to look at each conference.
