At that point the Big Ten was tops and ACC was #2. What that gross number does not tell you is the actual number of bids over the term. If it did you could back in to games won(i.e., units earned). I have noted in other posts an analysis of total bids and conference performance versus seed would give a clearer picture. Gross revenue is a rough measure and a quick way to look at each conference.
