After Monterrey Aquarium


make sure you hit Big Sur.
and then head back over to 101 and hit Paso Robles and Firestone Walker Brewing Co.
Route 1 is cool and all, but after about 3 hours of it, it gets.... kind of the same and it is very twisty. So make sure you bounce back and forth between 1 and 101 a few times.

Solvang is kind of cool in a kitchy kind of way.

There are a couple of old Nike Missile silo locations around San Francisco and LA area as well.

Can also recommend Muir Woods, but that is north of SF.
