I looked at it and saw a ton of winnable games,


as evidenced below, after the FSU game. I also had the thought of being 8-8, if we went 1-1 against Miami/FSU. Now, I figured we'd beat Miami at home and lose in Tallahassee, but here we are.

Too many people looked at the record and not how we got to that record. We lost to Duke and Wake, then got COVID. Lost to NCSt (1st game back) then @UVA by 2. Lost 2 more on the road (Understandable-ish) and a heartbreaking heave at the buzzer to get to 2-7. We were staring at 5 home games with 3 winnable away games. The team hadn't quit (as evidence by their play against Miami) and it was not unfathomable to think they could get to 8-8. Once there, winning 3 or 4 to end the season wasn't a stretch either based on the opponents. Again, i thought Miami would trip us up, not Clemson, but 3-1 in those games was nice.
