I think he was looking for Cattoor to screen because he had Hall on him


with the theory was that if Hall switched, he might not move well laterally and Maddox could get the shot.

Of if Hall didn't switch, Cattoor would be open on the flare after the screen.

But Dawes was on his heels and Maddox didn't need the help. Maddox had a good feel for 6.7 seconds, that's just enough time to play it like you always play it. So many times, that type of time frame is rushed.

(shout out to Storm for good hustle to the basket for the tip. He didn't have time but it was close enough that he's gotta get there.)
