It's a combination of things. First, mostly economic with the US having

the global reserve currency. Then using Swift to push other countries around, etc. (Many other countries agree). The CIA manipulating with everyone including Russia. The US fighting wars all over the world to ensure oil is priced in dollars and its ramifications. And then Ukraine/NATO putting bases and missiles on their border. Which they promised not to do previously (Helsinki accord).

With the level of debt of the US, the US is hurting economically. This act of war over Ukraine could topple the US having the global reserve currency. Ukraine is more of a pawn between two different empires (US/Europe) & (Russia/China). Russia and China partnered to take down the US.
