You're cherry-picking his body of work. What did beamer do his last 5 years


You must really hate the guy. But don't let your hate blind you.
Look at his whole body of work:
Five national championships, 12 Final Four appearances, 35 NCAA tournament showings, 15 ACC tournament championships and 12 ACC regular-season titles stretched across his 40 years.

Show me another college basketball coach who can match that record.

I rest my case.

And all great coaches get superior talent. Coach Wooden had Lew Alcindor and Bill Walton.
Dean Smith had Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Phil Ford and countless others.

Using the superior talent is a lame excuse. Hate the guy all you want but if you allow that to cloud your judgement on Coach K's success, you're just being silly.
