Nope but its not an easy answer


There was a time I thought he was really a great coach. His teams were teams. Even if I didn't like them or his self-righteous attitude. I respected what he did. I can't say I do now. Now I see him as a hypocrite. He used to talk about coaching, teaching, educating. He screamed about one and doners. Now he is a G-league team. He coaches to get his guys to the NBA. He has become what is wrong about college basketball. His reputation helped him get there. He is just another John Calipari. He didn't used to be. Now they are one and the same. I know why he did it. Doesn't mean I have to like it. Nor did he have to give into it. Duke would have been happy (maybe not as happy) with him developing players and students, making it to the final four a little less often. Instead he decided to become the guy who was about, come to me. I will coach you one year and send you to the NBA. Oh, you never have to be a student. You don't even have to finish your second semester. Sadly, this won't go away because he does. There are many "coaches" trying to fill his shoes right now. I am just disappointed he went that way.
