Those teams did get screwed. But Seth was dumb to not play the RPI game.

Very, very dumb. He knew for years how the RPI worked. But he somehow thought he could get into the tournament as a bubble team with bad RPI (and they also explicitly used OOC RPI as well, which was the nail in the coffin for his teams). Fix 2 OOC games and Seth would have had 4 NCAA appearances instead of 1. And he'd have not been fired when he was.
