How much profit they make is irrelevant to how much their labor costs them in the market. Capitalism is defined by maximizing profit.

Would I turn down a raise that an employer (not relevant as I'm self employed) offered me - or that I asked for? No, of course not, but if someone was willing to my job for less the owner would be crazy not to hire them.

At that salary range there is no need for unions - getting paid six or seven figures to play a sport - if the owner can pay someone less then find something else you enjoy that pays you that, or start a league of your own.
