Actually they weren't about "destroying our Athletic Program"

They were about advancing theirs and we had no part to play in advancing Louisville so we were collateral damage in pursuit of their goals. They did the same to VCU so it is not like they singled us out or had any personal animosity toward us. We are just a thing in the way.
