Look at it this way.


Mekhi will have no problem dispatching first opponent and it might be quick. He will be fine for Hidlay and might benefit from getting a warm up. Also, if Hidlay loses to Mekhi not only does he drop to 3rd he does not get his BYE advancement point awarded (but he will get 0.5 on the bye in conso). Whereas, if Mekhi pins his guy and then beats Hidlay he will get 2 bonus pts and 2 advancement points, 3.5 pts more than Hidlay before considering the extra placement points too.

As much as this sucks, this actually helps our team chances. Mekhi will be a high seed in NCAAT anyway and can crush anyone.
