It is interesting you mentioned the 800 for Malikova. I did not think

she looked very fast for the first half or so of the 400. Looked like she got stronger near the end. I thought to myself she should be running something longer, but then I knew she was in the Olympics at 400. So I figured maybe she was not used to running on an indoor track.
