If VT continues the path theyre going and keeps the same efficiencies:

1) theyll win more games
2) magically the pundits will realize you cant leave them out

Lets compare a team to VT

VT:
17-11
Q1: 0-5
Q2: 4-4
Q3: 7-2
Q4: 6-0

Team X:
19-8
Q1: 1-5
Q2: 6-3
Q3: 4-0
Q4: 8-0

Team X is a 7-seed, VT is 9 teams outside the tournament

Youre not going to convince me that 1 win is the difference between a 7-seed and being a 3-seed in the NIT

Lunardi is guessing, and VT will "magically" come closer to the bubble as the resumes stack up

Team X is Iowa
