Comments like that on a podcast are not meant to be disrespectful....


to past great players here. Not even close. And they are (as are many) referring to the the players time here at VT (not factoring in a pro career). Gavin Cross has the chance to become the highest ever draft pick from VT. To do that, he would have to eclipse Joe Saunders as the highest drafted Hokie. He was the 12th overall pick. GC is the best "legit" 5 Tool player I have seen play here. Watched him yesterday in BP and he is just different. But he can really defend, run, and throw. And that is not a slight to the others before him........hoping for a great year from him.
