I agree with you, watching this ACC Tourney Series does bring back lots of

memories. I hate to admit it but I liked the Ralph Sampson UVA teams in that era, Jeff Lamp, Othel Wilson, a good group of players. My best friend was a UNC fan and he would always talk trash about the other ACC teams, especially UVA, but those UNC teams were really good.
This whole series does take you back to those days of our youth. In HS, we would all go the lunch room and watch a TV that one of the teachers had rolled in to watch the ACCT games. I had an old 13" B&W TV that I took with me to my Service Station job in Bassett and we would watch the ACC games in between customers (I would get upset when someone would come in for an oil change during an important game, the nerve of some people).
I remember those names as well, Jeff Atkins, Tim Martin, the old Drewry Mason HS (i played football games on that field in the back).
These next 2 segments will be memorable as well with a focus on Lefty's later Maryland teams and Cremins.' GT run.
I'm really enjoying this series. It really shows how much the game has changed over the past few decades, and not for the better. Seeing these old players compete for the love of the game, the school, their fans, their coaches and teammates, the rivalries. You don't see these guys getting upset about not making any money or only playing 1 year and leaving for the NBA circus. You see how the special relationships among teammates and coaches are built and endure through the years. There is a purity of the game that we have lost by allowing money to corrupt it, and this series highlights that fact for me.

And Will, they did have several segments where they interviewed Jeff Jones last night.
