I believe Thompson's skills were actually showcased more without the dunk and by the grace and fluidity it took to play within those rules. Dean Smith had Michael pretty much underwraps with the Carolina system. Ralph was the 3 time national player of the year I believe so highly doubtful anybody was ever going to say "Ralph hoo".
