We're competing with Memphis for a bid, them notching a top 5 win is bad

I'd rather them be a Q2 loss for us and not have one of the best wins in CBB this year than they get that win and become a better loss for VT. We've already lost the head to head to them so if we don't have a materially better resume they will get in over us.

In all likelihood we won't have a Q1 win, so we need a super soft bubble. Right now we're neck and neck in metrics with other bubble teams like Michigan and Oklahoma who actually have good wins. The committee will give the nod to teams with big wins over teams that are a couple spots ahead in NET.
