Metrics update: KP and T-Rank unchanged, NET up 3 spots to 35
We've got two clear teams to root for as well in conference to improve our team sheet:
- UVA at 79: Moving up to 75 would be huge for us, the loss becomes Q1 and the win Q2
- NCST at 137: Getting to 135 makes our away win Q2
That's pretty much it on realistic moves to improve our scorecard, beyond that cheer for all other non-conference bubble teams to lose (includes teams like Memphis, Dayton, Oregon, Florida, Michigan, Rutgers, Oklahoma, etc).
UNC and Miami are absolutely massive games for 2 reasons. 1) they're both on the right side of the bubble and thus would be our 2 biggest wins and 2) they give us a chance to even the season series with teams we're competing against.
If we can somehow go 2-0 I'd feel real good about our chances provided we don't slip up against GT in between. [Post edited by soflahokie at 02/15/2022 08:59AM]
