Not a ramble. Well expressed. All points.


I grew up with SEC BB and didn't become acquainted with the ACC until I attended VPI. Listened to the legendary John Ward call the UT games, "[Billy] Hahn to [Billy] Justice to [Tom] Borwinkle. To Justice, back to Hahn. BOTTOM (or GIVE IT TO HIM."
And Pistol Pete Maravich with his floppy socks and 40 point games.
Our freshman RA* (Vawter) had a TV and couch and we watched ACC BB what seemed like every night. VPI was never on TV for any sport. But the ACC. Oh, boy!
*Shout out and RIP to George Coleman, Fieldale-Collinsville HS, near Martinsville.
