What are your thoughts on this season on this season, and are you surprised with the number of loses?

I always expect bad luck to hit Hokie Hoops but I’ve never been so disappointed in a season (so far, hopefully, they will continue to play well and turn it around). I thought this team was going to be a lock for the tourney. Here are my thoughts that I wonder if you share or completely disagree with (I won’t be offended) and why the losses:

X - have not seen the stats, but it seems like the team missed a lot of key foul shots down the stretch on games we have lost.
X - lots of turnovers and sloppy play at the end of games. Is the team worn down (which brings me to my next comment)?
X - haven’t really liked coach’s rotation. Seems like he stuck with NA and Storm in games when they couldn’t make a shot and were turn-over machines. Also, didn’t like his play call at the end of UM game. Couldn’t we have gotten a better shot than an NBA 3? Still like MY, but wondering if he’s having a down year or missing some of the knowledge of key assistants?
X - team misses Radford a lot. Haven’t followed what he’s doing this year but he was the man in Maroon and Orange.
X - dealing with the press that every team knows we don’t handle well.

Final question - what are your thoughts on next season? I think the team will struggle - especially in the post. I may be happy with .500, but not sure if that is optimistic or too dreadful.
