The bench is scoring more and the team is shooting better, but.
the main reason for the better offense has been Murphy's point guard play, which has been solid.
Over the last four games, he has 13 assists and 2 turnovers, while averaging 12 ppg. He has been been more aggressive offensively and unafraid to take (and make) important shots late in games.
Lost in the FSU Cattoor and Pedula shooting performances was that Murphy had 5 assists and ZERO turnovers in that game.
He has some limitation due to lack of size, but he's doing exactly what this team needs him to do right now. [Post edited by vtbball80 at 02/06/2022 7:23PM]
