My $$$ tax bill

Working with the accountant right now. I basically work from Jan 1 until Jul 31 for free. All that income goes to fed taxes, Cali taxes, SS, property taxes, and sales tax.

So I get the money for 5 months, the govt gets it for 7 month of my economic output.

I think I am supposed to be grateful to the geniuses in Washington I suppose, but I have never not worked 60+ hours a week since graduating from VT over 30 years ago.

What would I cut? The shorter answer is "What wouldn't I cut".
