Well nobody forced you to work your job either, but work is work

and maybe you signed a contract for your employment that requires you to work within certain requirements in order to earn $ for your work, just as college employees that play football and basketball etc do for their employer. Their work in particular generate billions in revenues for their employers. Maybe your work does too (only you would know). And if they don't work, they lose scholarship, just like if you don't work, your employment would be terminated. And I generally disagree with notion that they are equitably compensated (school benefits yada yada) in comparison to the billions that the college sports business makes from the work they perform. It's not even close. And of course the rules have always been totally unfair to these employees (i.e., employees penalized for transfering to a different employer - just asinine in retrospect, but for decades everyone just assumed it was normal). Brock Hoffman had to sit out a friggon year of football because his home was 5 miles outside of a 100-mile radius of VT and because his mom's condition had improved. Total friggon nonsense! The NCAA is a complete joke, as they merely served as the enforcement arm for those in charge to continue to subjugate the employees performing the work that generates the billions for the college sports business. Oh...but the management (coaches/ads) with $Million salaries can switch employers any day of the week with no penalties at all (just like any other business execs). I support the employees getting more freedoms, more choices, and more money. And I do not understand why anyone, on here or elsewhere, that doesn't want these employees to have these things, or thinks the world will end if they do. Why, because they're old fashioned?
