Our stats show that when our starters are out of the game

The other teams are going on runs. This is easily evident if you watch any of our games.

The reason CMY has to play the starters so much is no lead is safe yet with the bench. No other teams are scared of them at all.

Pedulla gets screened too easily now and has a hard time getting back to his guy. He is often ball watching while his guy drifts away from him. This leads to many open three point shots without any challenge. He is getting better but you don’t even have to watch the game in slow motion to see this happening. He will certainly continue to improve and one day be a great defender. But teams are making sure to get the ball over to his side of the zone alot. I think he’s a good on ball defender now but away from the ball he can certainly improve.

The rest of the bench is much further behind in development.

Yes, but in late games, upside favors Maddox IMO -- Vienna_Hokie 02/03/2022 11:41AM
