Something that annoys me about college wrestling is that NCAA tournaments are called differently than regular season. When I was watching Brady's match yesterday I thought that Cleary would be called for stalling multiple times in a post-season match unless he adjusted. However, during a regular season dual at home the ref didn't call a thing.

The way NCAA tourney matches are called forces action, makes them more fun to watch and makes wrestling a better sport in my opinion. I just wish they would be consistent. Imagine MLB changing the strike zone in the playoffs.

With all that said, wrestling is a no excuses sport and Connor has to finish his shots. One of my favorite quotes, that I think came from Lee Roy Smith to his younger brother John at the Olympics: "Find a way to win."
