Why would ND ever....


want to lead a conference when it largely leads the entire landscape that currently bows at its independence? No one ever gives up a larger kingdom for a smaller one voluntarily. The question is if the college football world will actually look at ND's actual football accomplishments of the last three decades and ask whether they still merit their own INDIVIDUAL seat at the table.
