It seems to me that the offense is predicated upon having a guard that can break down his defender, penetrate and kick to an open shooter. However, none of our guards can do this against bigger, faster, longer acc competition. Maybe Maddux, but he is frozen on the bench.
1) is this an accurate assessment of the offense on my part?
2) is Maddox defense so bad that he is not capable of 15min a game?
3) is CMY "system" going to limit his ability to recruit the caliber players necessary to make it work in the ACC. There seems to be a bit of chicken and egg here...is it the system or is it the players
