I pose this as a question. Watching Will and David

on you tube. They point out how VT has allowed a lot of offensive rebounds for the opposing team in the last 5 minutes of games. I havent paid attention to this much, but did a little in the last game. When Aluma jumps a guard and the opposing big guy rolls to the basket. They then throw him the ball for a shot over a smaller VT defender. Even if he misses, he's still right at the basket, with Aluma possible behind him or to the side. Giving him a chance to grab the rebound over a smaller guy. Is this sound defensive strategy ? I dont know, just looking for others thoughts. I know other teams do this also. I'm going to watch tonight and see how well they do rebounding tonight.
