I had that happen when commuting to VT for an early exam. Coolant froze,


wouldn’t cool, engine overheated. Fortunately I rolled into a service station before damaging engine and hitch-hiked to VT for exam. When I returned a few hours later the station had moved my car into a garage bay and warmed it up… refreshed antifreeze and I was good to go.
Watch for any sign of overheating engine.
