When I was a kid my Dad would put the anti-freeze checker to use with


forecast lows like what they're calling for tonight in Va. Do many people even do that anymore? If you have, say, an 8 year old vehicle that you've never added water to do you check the anti-freeze effectiveness? My Dad would talk of seeing major engine damage from sub-freezing weather. I've never seen/heard of it among my circle of acquaintances once.
