Request from Major Kong re: restaurant advice.


We have just purchased a second home in Shady Valley, TN. We'll be spending some time there, but in about 8 years when I'm done with nursing, we will be leaving Maryland and retiring to this spot permanently.

Shady Valley is about one hour from Abingdon on the country roads. I haven't spent much time in Abingdon, really. But I know Abingdon is famous for its restaurants. Being a denizen of Marion, I figure you've been there much more than I, and more recently too. So tell me which of Abingdon's places you like -- I'm thinking you must have an opinion!

If any of you other Lizards hail from that local area, you're welcome to chime in as well.
