No, projects are fine. The issue becomes when you have too many of them.


That's what this roster has - a ton of projects and developmental players. What it means for this team is that there aren't enough players that CMY actually trusts to play in meaningful games. CMY could afford to have more projects at Wofford because he didn't have to worry about as much roster attrition. In big boy basketball he doesn't have the luxury of carrying so many. Kidd was one too many. Unless CMY is willing to completely take it on the chin next year, he has no choice but to bring in an experienced big. I'm saying he would have been better served bringing in any experienced player at any position than to take Kidd who, if he develops, is still a full year or two away.
