It isn't ridiculous, wasting a scholarship on a developmental player when

you only have 5 guys you really trust to play is ridiculous. He could be a good player in the future, but there was no need to use a scholarship on him this year. If he can only play with the walkons this year, then what do you expect him to do next year? Start over Ojiako? A player that does have a body of work would have been a lot more sensible. I get CMY not knowing that Radford would be gone, but even then, he'd still have only 6 players he really trusted to play. But the real proof that it was a wasted scholarship will be when Mike Young recruits over him in the portal this offseason.
