in recent years Pitt is 9-4 vs VT the past 20 years. Historically Pitt has 9 National championships to VT 0. VT has maybe one or 2 NFL greats. You can not even count the NFL hall of Fame types from PITT. Yes VT has had a great fan base the last 25 years but the more I follow them the more delusional they seem in regard to the actual status of the program. They have Bruce Smith and Mike Vick both of whom no current HS players were born when they played. vt Does not have the Nattys of Clemson Miami or FSU nor the caliber of players produced. Pitt almost beat a top 10 team with their 3rd team QB and VT got stomped by a average MD team.
